Quiet Tea Time at Tazza Di Bonta

Quiet Tea Time at Tazza Di Bonta

Tazza Di Bonta Coffee and Tea

Last August 15, 2013, me and my college bff Micole attended a seminar at Abreeza. I really missed her (and as well the rest of my bffs whom I haven’t seen 🙂 ) ANYWAY, T’was past 2 or almost 3 pm (I think) when the seminar ended. I told her I am quite hungry (despite that we have a late lunch at the seminar) and if it’s ok if we could have a light merienda somewhere. Then I remembered that the night before, I was researching a good chill out place here in Davao where it could be my next target to visit. So… I told her about this coffee shop somewhere in Lanang and we’ll have a relaxing catch up… plus it does serve one of my favorite hot drink.. TEA! read more

Dog Lover Chillin’ at the Cat’s Alley

Worst drawing I made in Paint! But I don’t know…I love it 😀

Ok dudes and dudettes, don’t dwell too much on the above image. I know, I know it’s..”huh???!” But anyway, it’s been a long time too doing doodles like this in Paint apart having my own world with my large sketchpad and pens. ‘Nuff said.

Anyway…After a long stroll along the streets of Davao together with my buddy Anne while accompanying her to look for and buy cheap but good digicam under the drizzling and breezy afternoon. I suggested if we could chill at this cozy place called Alleycat… Alleycat Tea House. read more

Happiness in a Cup of Sikwate

Happiness in a Cup of Sikwate

“I’d rather fall for chocolates than Love. CHOS! :P”

P.S.: I can’t think of any quote and that’s just a product from my crazy musings. 🙂

When we were kids, me and my younger siblings love to savor our lola’s home made hot chocolate drink made traditionally. Before at our lola’s house, she had 3 cacao trees which were the sources of cocoa beans made to this everybody’s favorite drink.

Sikwate is the Filipino term for the hot cocoa drink. Whatever the season is, this hot chocolate drink is definitely a well-loved beverage. I usually have it especially when I was having my 11-7 duty in the hospital and it’s my drink when I munch on puto maya and  more often when I work and enjoyed a lot of cups of it when I read books in the four corners of my room. read more

If you are looking for a cheap but superb meal that can satiate your gastronomic delight, there are actually a lot of good cafe or restaurants to dine in. =&0=&is one of those cheap restaurants that served good food at very affordable prices. Last Saturday after seeing free Japanese film with my friend Dreb Bits, I suggested if we could have lunch at this small resto that a friend of mine, dear Eloisa, told me about. Gloriamaries Cafe Pasta can be located just near Em’s Pasta which is at corner Tionko Avenue and Torrest Street. It is established in an alley in front of Blueberry Hotel. The place is quite small and ambiance was relaxing and the interior expresses homey atmosphere and sporting neutral colors. We ordered our lunch which are rice toppings that are priced at 50 and above. The meal servings are good and the food is great. Apart from that, they also served pasta dishes. Other food that’s served are burgers, fries, nachos, pizza and sisig. Moreover, students can also afford to order their affordable lunch which is priced at 45 pesos.

S&R Davao City: Worldclass Shopping Experience for Davaoeños

S and R Shopping Store

I should have posted this last May but heck I was too “busy” that I can’t even make time to do a blog. I am so sorry for my “avid” readers/followers out there. But anyway, here is my post about my visit at one of the newest stores in Davao, S and R retail shopping store.

Last May 28, 2013, Davaoeños had a blast of a world class shopping experience as S and R officially opened at 12 noon. Davao City have welcomed this newly sprung mall offering more dining, shopping, home care, lifestyle and a lot more for the local residents. And right in the heart of our beloved metro, the mall or store guarantee us with greater and better shopping experiences! This new shopping destination is located infront of NCCC mall exit along the highway going to Maa. All of the goods and products being sold here are 100% American brand and members can purchase these at huge discounts. There are also freshly baked goods that are superb to taste and…devour! 🙂 The Davao S and R outlet is one among the biggest in the country.
